Senior Citizen health insurance entitles the person who is 60 years old to avail the benefits of Mediclaim insurance.
Inpatient hospitilisation covers the hospitilisation expenses including medical cost, room rent, doctor fees, nursing fees, cost of medicine etc.
Pre-existing diseases are covered with low waiting periods as per the availability .
Exclusions:
Pre-existing disease to be covered after a period of 3-4 years from the inception of the policy.
Any illness or disease contracted during the first 30 days from the inception of the policy.
Non-allopathic treatments are not covered.
Cosmetic Surgery is not covered.
Dental Treatment is not covered unless due to accident.
